Did anyone think Kavanaugh wouldn't be confirmed easily? Aside from some obligatory chest thumping by Schumer, Pelosi, and other leaders in the American Pushover Party, they will show up for a vote and will confirm Kavanaugh, because they'd never be so impolite or "uncivil" as to do otherwise.
