I've been wanting to go to McSorley's for year's. It's in Manhattan and has the distinction as being New York City’s oldest continuously operated saloon (since 1854). They only serve 2 types of beer: light and dark. I'm hoping to go when I'm up for the holidays this year!

I get that... if the keg and tap during very cold most beers are at there best.

Been to Mc Sorleys several times, at one time it was a right of passage for locals but has become a tourist point on travel maps.
Not that anything change other than who visits and for how long and should be a destination for any beer person.

Another even better is on 7th ave & 19th St.
Peter McMannis, place is still in its original set and condition since proahbition.
Complete with Phone booths and all.

Nice. Thanks, I'll have to look into Peter McMannis' Cafe.
