Yeah, they probably do have it mixed up with something else. Harry sounds like he was quite the character, so who knows just how many stories about his exploits are still floating around all these years later. Like you said, this would have been a very big deal. Also, I think Nick was only around for about 4 or 5 months during the war between them and then he got locked up on that derringer case. By the time he got out, Harry was locked up and the war was over.
This is true....u gotta c the interview w/ him in prison about 5 min. long where he says he had no respect 4 Scarfo & how he knows he could've been boss back in the late 40s , but didn't want the hot seat..plus him explaining how he as an old man wrestled the gun off 1 of Scarfo's boy's( I forget this min. who)..1 of the Milano's or 1 of the Grandes...?..but said he would not have gave in 2 Scarfo if Scarfo didn't play dirty..
