De Niro was on some run for a while with movies like Casino, Heat and Ronin. Even The Score was vastly underrated IMO. It's amazing how quickly the quality of his roles deteriorated in the noughties.

Back in those days, my formative movie watching days, as a child, the name De Niro was synonymous with greatness. I was too young to watch his movies, but I knew Pacino and De Niro were proper actors.
