The last time they didn´t make it to the second round was Hitler´s Germany in 1938.
For some reason I don't gloat as much about Germany losing than I did in the 90's. The grudge I had for them has almost diminished it seems..
I hope very much our Southern neighbors Belgium take the cup. I live 5 minutes away form the border, so they call me a 'reserve Belg' all the time anyway lol
