Harley-Davidson has identified the tariffs as the reason for this outsourcing. Specifically. This was in their public statement to the media today. I posted the exact quote above.

I don't care what they "claimed" today. The proof is out there, I don't give a shit if you like it or not. The proof is a Harley does NOT have all American parts and a lot of parts were being outsourced already by Harley. Over 3 years ago they announced they were shutting the same plant down due to sluggish sales and let it be known they were planning on outsourcing to Thailand. They can blame the tariffs all they want, but the facts are the facts that this was in motion well before the tariffs were enacted. It's just another b.s. move to try and claim Trump's policies are causing this when it's far from the truth...
