America's political system is the real problem IMO, they created a president like Trump.
The same system created a president like Obama
Yes, he was like Trump a highly polarizing figure, but at least he elevated America's image abroad.
I guess you have a point,with appeasement, Obama did elevate his image.
So the system works some of the times based on peoples image of the president.
It only works if the President stands above both parties and tries to unite the country. I agree Clinton would bealso a bad choice with so many enemies, but at least we abroad knew with what America we would be dealing trump is unpredictable.
