I've seen at least a dozen pictures of Elián González today. People do love their false equivalencies.
So many people are following that attempt to equate that unique situation (a kid being given back to his parent) with what's going on today with thousands of children being forcibly removed from their parents. The former being a matter of following an actual law, and the latter having to do with an idiotic policy created by a man who says he doesn't know anything about it.
