Coonan was probably capable but was also a deadly psychopath, along with his sidekick Featherstone.

Billy Beatty is an interesting member to read up on, he's given interviews on documentaries in the past. He comes across as being bright and articulate, he was a good earner for them.

He despised the senseless killings, he himself even ended up on the hitlist before the Westies imploded.
