In the article, Renaud mentions that according to the newspaper's information, Massino and Vitale had both separately revealed to RCMP investigators visiting them in New York City that a fourth person involved in the Three Captains Hit, whom Massino and Vitale never identified, was a Montrealer who was missing an earlobe.
