Progressive tax code.

Embraced tech revolution (which was a liberal stance then).

Pushed for universal health care.

Pushed for government funded tech training for adults (something Trump is now pushing, yet Republicans rejected it when Clinton wanted it).

The so called "progressive" tax code is hardly worth mentioning. His main goal was to cut the deficit and he succeeded in doing so! What you are forgetting are his financial deregulation bills, something he championed while he was the president. When the crash occurred, he tried to blame the Republicans. He never took responsibility for anything he ever did in his life. Then again, neither did Trump.
