Frankly, I don't know why any Democrat would want to take credit for this flimsy, gig economy. The economy is really not good. Just look around you. Living wage, full time jobs are not increasing. Those lucky enough to have them are clinging on for dear life. Cost of living is skyrocketing, especially in cities. Rural areas are depressed, many of them drug ridden. Yet, politicians on both sides of the aisle want to take credit for an Amazon sweat shop that offers part time jobs at $10/hr. Franklin Roosevelt and JFK are shaking their heads at what both Democrats and Republicans today consider to be an economic accomplishment.
