I don't think so..I think they'll take a small hit but people will still call their bets in because first they don't have to put put their money up first like they will at the track and they don't have to drive to the track..they can just make their bets from their living room !!
I am afraid you could be right. Gambling is more complex and more multifaceted than say drugs or alcohol. Having gambling legal may actually wind up helping organized crime in some aspects. For one, it will be much harder to build conspiracy cases against them. I wouldn't be surprised if there are federal investigators out there who view this decision as a blow to the feds.
