Exporters don't pay tariffs, importers do. And they just pass that cost on to the consumers. Which is part of why trade wars are considered so harmful.

Mexico and Canada were exempted from the tarriffs Trump just put in place anyway. Which now gives them a huge leg up on the countries that are now under heavy tarriffs. We will be buying more steel and aluminum from them, not less.

All God's children are not beautiful. Most of God's children are, in fact, barely presentable.
