One of the big reasons is that its far too easy to get caught. You have camera’s on almost every corner and then you have dna.
Can you imagine the Catellano hit happening today? That whole hit would of been on tape.
I can't find conviction rates for the surveillance state known as NYC, but nationally murder clearances have gone down.
