When you get a lot of 0-0 draws at the professional level. It means on of two things. One if you play a better game the other team can get a draw because they are very familiar with the game your playing. Sometimes familiarity looks like parity to the untrained eye.

Two you might be better but your team just doesn’t match up well against that one particular team. That is the hardest to over come. Matchups are very important. You can move your players around to get better match ups in a particular game. You want to get a better match up against your opponents individually.

That why in the course of the game you might move a player from the left flank to the right flank to get a better matchup there. Or keep both players on a flank to get a numerical advantage on one side of the field. Hit the free player get a lot more crosses to the other side to a good finisher.

Best advice I ever got from a manager even if your game is great. Change it and make it even better.
