Police aren't real union members. They don't work in solidarity with other unions. They're protection racketeers. Their union is more like a mafia. The police unions would try to make their pensions eligible after 10 years if we let them get away with it. If you can score a sweet deal like that in the private sector, more power to you. But public pensions should not be springing people into second careers. That's b.s. It's called double dipping, and police are notorious for it today. It's not right.
