I played American football for about 24 years. Have not watched a super bowl in a long time. I saw the whole game Sunday and a lot of the pregame. No visitors except my wife. Had some Italian food delivered.

I did not particularly like the game. I was a defensive player from my point of view the game had to be a lot of scoring because the defense was bad by both teams.

Here is how I learned to play on defense. On the snap of the ball you must get defensive penetration right away on the snap of the ball. You got to get behind the line of scrimmage. Why, if you don’t and the offensive team get to the line of scrimmage it is very hard for them not to gain yards. Both team defensively did not do that. So they both were going to score a lot of points.

Then New England wins the coin toss and let’s Philadelphia have the ball. They scored and New England got behind for most of the game.
