Your right about that. Grand Avenue has alot of Barese people (from Bari in southern Italy). One example would be Joey Lombardo. Other guys that are Barese were the Spilotro brothers, the Cassano's, and many others. If you do some research into John DiFronzo (and his brothers) and Solly D (sal delaurentis) and their last names, they originate in the Bari area, so odds are they are Barese as well. Interesting how Chicago seemed to have a high Barese population, when in most other cities they were usually Sicilian, Neapolitan or Calabrese. Bari today has a large organized crime presence, like the rest of southern Italy. Other people that are Barese are the Sollecito's in Montreal and the DiNunzio's over in Boston.
