I don't think the color of someone makes them an expert on a whole percentage the population.

Would it be fair to say that someone from upstate ny would have little in common with someone from Alabama regardless of they are white or black. I would say to a certain degree I have more in common culturally with my black neighbor than I would with a white dude from Iowa.
