Why would Ducks have Buddy Luongo named as his successor, and then have him whacked by Casso and Amuso? Doesn't make sense.
Buddy Luongo started trying to isolate Ducks from the family instead of just waiting for the commission trial to finish and Ducks would have named him official Boss anyway. Luongo was clearly an idiot and a bad choice as Boss, he tries to fuck over the guy that made him acting boss.
