A thirty-year-old Dutch man has been arrested for involvement in a shooting in a brothel in Marbella, Spain. In addition, five people were injured. The Dutchman was arrested in the Norwegian capital Oslo on 21 December, but his arrest has only just become known.

According to Spanish media, the man tried to escape his arrest in Norway by showing a false passport. He also intentionally burned his fingertips to prevent identification.

Automatic firearm
On December 10, the Dutch man got into a fight in Marbella with four other guests, including a Frenchman and a Belgian. The Dutchman got serious blows, left the brothel, but came back a little later, armed with an automatic firearm. He opened the fire to the guests who had given him the beating before. One of the men fired back, whereupon the Dutch fled. The police arrested a total of seven people the same night and the next day, including the Frenchman and two Belgians. The 30-year-old Frenchman was wanted for murder and arms trade and has since been extradited to France. In house searches, six luxury cars, more than 10,000 euro cash, guns, 21 mobile phones, German and Spanish license plates and a drone were seized.

Attempted homicide
The rental car of the Dutchman was burnt down the day after the shooting. He is suspected of forbidden possession of weapons and attempted murder of the four guests of the brothel who were injured. The identity of the Dutchman has not been made known.
