The court in Amsterdam sentenced two men to import 454 kilos of cocaine. The drugs were found last April in the port of Rotterdam in a container that came from Colombia. The coke, with a value of about 22 million euros, was stamped with a Star of David.

Colombian
A 49-year-old Colombian from the port city of Santa Marta was sentenced to six years in prison. The Colombian was in contact with fellow suspects in both the Netherlands and Colombia. In veiled language he spoke about 'girls', with which he meant the drugs.

Rhoon
Another suspect, a 39-year-old man from Rhoon, has been without trace since the interception of the drugs last year. His company stood on the cargo papers as an addressee. He was sentenced in absentia to eight years in prison by the court.
