I've been following Franzese on twitter, and I don't think he cares if those in the know have it on authority that he informed. He seems to be taking up Republican politics these days, targeting the Christian conservative market. He knows they really don't care either way if he informed. If he just keeps saying he's "not a snitch", however, it makes him sound credible. He's campaigning to be the media's resident reformed wiseguy.
