Three major witnesses in the trial against top criminal Willem Holleeder do not want to make any statements for the time being until their security has been improved. That is what the Telegraaf reports. The women, the two sisters of Holleeder and an ex-girlfriend have been protected for a long time, but are left to their fate.
According to the newspaper, "protection measures and their financing" are negotiated. Until the outcome of those negotiations is clear, the women no longer want to testify. According to some people Holleeder was involved in 25 murders.
