when u hear them talk/ and which ones sound completely ignorant?

For a thug, Sammy comes across as quite a smart guy. And from his interview he sounds well spoken too

Lefty on those tapes sounded ignorant and easily led. He was a sitting duck for a guy like Pistone who just played dumb- and the more dumb Pistone played, the more Lefty talked.
