This is becoming a little crazy. It's becoming a contest to see who can find the oldest people on earth of little notoriety (and yes, I'm guilty of it too). No fun in that. I propose we make some limit on these super old people on our lists for next year.


How about we pick an age, say 80. If you pick someone in their 80s and they die, you get one point. If you pick someone in their 90s, you get 3/4 of a point. 100s - 1/2 point. 110s - 1/4 point. You could even go the other way and offer bonuses as the person picked is younger. 70s - 1.25, 60s - 1.5, 50s - 1.75.

Might discourage simply googling the oldest living person.
