I heard that song a few weeks ago. I think the woman sings something else.It does sound like what you quoted, but I just saw online that she could be singing "dropped you off, he stated firm......."





I looked up Native New Yorker again and it says that it's East 83rd. I think that's it. I'd still like to know if there's anything significant about that street. "firm" doesn't make sense.
