The key takeaway being that the Mexican cartels have become so large, that strictly supply doesn't seem to be enough to keep em operational. They seem to NEED retail markets now because the per kilo value drops on the wholesale side.


Before they were able to stay above the street by just supplying, and never leaving Mexico. But the violence, if it's bad enough to force a drug lord OVER the border, well......

If Jalisco is intent on fighting a prolonged war, all this stuff, the conflicts, the political climate with the border and immigration, the Caribbean opening back up... It's going to be interesting...
