Badlands **** (1st time) 1973, Malick, US A garbage worker and fifteen-year-old magazine addict fall in love and go on a killing spree across the Dakota plains. Strangely beautiful tale, haunting in its aesthetics and boasting blistering performances from the two leads. It is a sad reflection of being at odds with society and the loneliness that causes it.
