I stopped smoking cigarettes four weeks ago now and i have to say it's much easier than i ever imagined it would be too quit.

I went cold turkey and have just been using chewing gum to take my mind off it. The first two days where the worst as i had been smoking everyday for close to 20 years and then all off a sudden nothing and my brain and body went into survival mode without the nicotine. lol

But it's still early days as i know i could have a cigarette at any time so i'm taking everyday at a time..
