I think the artwork is lovely.

But, I do agree on the spoiler issue. I think showing spoilers is in bad taste. And that for someone who knows the films well.

I don't give anyone the privilege of bringing up spoilers before watching a film at my house. That's just rude. But that's kinda what Paramount is doing with this artwork. I wonder what spoilers will be on the artwork of the disc itself, if not the same artwork.
