Back in November, Louise Mensch reported that the FBI sought and was granted, a FISA court warrant in October, giving counter-intelligence permission to examine the activities of ‘U.S. persons’ in Donald Trump’s campaign with ties to Russia. This was confirmed by the BBC in January, although they reported the warrant is for financial records.


If the FBI's warrant is what Trump means by 'Obama is wire tapping me', then he just committed a huge blunder. If he is basing his accusations on the Mark Levin/Breitbart pieces, then he committed a huge blunder of a completely different kind. And if he did this as some sort of distraction, it backfired spectacularly.
