In a way, this is what Trump gets. He was one to complain about the electoral college and now he's won because of it. Lol. Then he spent all that time complaining about a rigged election and now the tables have turned. It's hard to feel sorry for him there.

I happen to think all the crying about the electoral college is silly and a bit ignorant. The contest was always to try winning the electoral college in those key swing states, not to win the popular vote. Otherwise, why spend time and resources campaigning in smaller swing states? People just don't get it. Even Trump himself doesn't quite get it.

I guess all the people crying actually have high expectations for politicians. My expectations are as low as possible so I guess that makes me at peace with whatever the outcome.
