The same Robert Byrd that repudiated his former association, and apologized? The Robert Byrd that was later praised by the NAACP?

And he wasn't a KKK guy thirty years ago. I believe his membership was back in the 50's. He was a horrible person in his earlier years, and managed to change.

I haven't seen indications of the same from Sessions, but feel free to post any. I'm always interested in learning.
