So, the protester walks in with an anti-Trump sign. That's all. Just a sign.

A nearby Trump supporter yells "gun", jumps on the protester, beats the shit out of him and subdues him.

The police then cuff and detain the protester.

After searching the protester, questioning him, viewing surveillance footage, they determine he was just a guy with a sign, and wasn't doing anything illegal. They let him go.

Then, you have the Trump supporter, who took down the protester, boasting about it to news crews.

Since the protester didn't have a gun, there was no justification for the Trump supporter attacking the protester. The Trump supporter yelled "gun", even though there clearly was no gun.

Why isn't the Trump supporter arrested? Not only did he assault someone for no reason, he even yelled out a term which could provoke panic or violence, similar to yelling "fire" in a crowded theater, as it were. He was not so much as detained or questioned, and even put on a reenactment performance to the delight of the news crews.

If this isn't state sanctioned thuggery, I don't know what is. Shame on all law enforcement present at this event.

"...the successful annihilation of organized crime's subculture in America would rock the 'legitimate' world's foundation, which would ultimately force fundamental social changes and redistributions of wealth and power in this country. Meyer Lansky's dream was to bond the two worlds together so that one could not survive without the other." - Dan E. Moldea
