Supreme Court appointments, which are lifetime appointments. One appointment for certain, likely one or two more throughout the duration of whoever's presidency. Part of the Trump campaign's strategy is hoping to discourage enough people from participating in the process to give them just enough of an edge, but it doesn't look like it's working, thank goodness.
Precisely why Hillary being elected would be disastrous. Her Supreme Court picks would be as bad as Obama's. Just more liberal activists, in the style of Ginsberg, who don't care what the Constitution actually says or staying within their legal bounds but just forcing their warped views and agenda on society.
