Beeps is very well off and is still friendly with scoops but is basically retired.
The newark crew is shadow of its former self. Joey scoops is basically layin low and drivin slow. He doesnt really need the action.
Bloomfield ave is dead. There were card games and clubs on almost every corner.
A guy would have a club and everyone would stop by to play monte, craps, and whatever. The sharks would always be around and money was always being made. Roseville ave was big with that and im not talking about the finish line.
Up until the mid nineties, it was all over the place. Of course less than the 80's but it was around. Everyone got pinched, died, or just grew old. The dynamic changes considerably and as i always say, it has a lot to do with the demise of the middle class italian neighborhood.
