Angelesco for sure,he made his bones the old fashioned way. He got away with murder at the Squire Lounge when he killed Peter DeVito. That was unsanctioned. People thought he was going to pay for that one, but they made him instead. Also, the Patsy Squillante hit in Malden is unsolved. Angelesco was locked up then, but I think he withdraw a plea bargain in another case once Squillante was found with two bullets in his head. Also, he may have been the triggerman on Mucka McCormack, who I believe had Somerville rackets.

I was thinking in terms of a Mob boss still using that option as a go-to. It seems like it's bad for business and harder than ever to get away with.
