A friend of mine turned me onto Middle Eastern cooking and spices, my favorite spice mix (so far) she introduced me to isza'atar, very good madethis recipe the other night
Got a nice little container of this magical spice about 2 yrs. ago on L.B.I.,,makes great flatbread combinations as well as poultry & lamb etc..being a Sous Chef by trade 4 about 25 yrs. now, I'm suprised it's just now surfacing among the general public..mediterranian cooks have been using this blend 4 hundreds of yrs.,,good stuff!!
