in the movie "goodfellas" henry hill said being made to an aspiring Italian, was like being baptized, every low-level crook wanted to be made, I guessed things changed. in those days no one would turn it down.
My Henry was from those days. More than anything else, he didn't want the extra heat. Pretty smart for a guy with only a sixth grade education.
