Yea I just don't get the angle the Feds are trying to get at with this indictment and arrest. I was thinking it had been mentioned before too, and that was how we learned it was Salemme Jr. that strangled him. Weird case without a doubt.
As for Flemmi I agree, what luck huh? LMAO. It's a wonder how he stayed alive after the way he has bungled everything since then. They made him to look like a fool in the Whitey Bulger case. Even made it seem like he killed Hussey instead of Whitey.
I think it's to set an example. If you are going to cooperate, don't lie to us, don't embarrass us, because we'll come back and nail you for it. Now future aspiring informants should see that you shouldn't gloss over everything because you'll get bit in the end. Also, that guy DiSarro had a young family who never got closure. Now they do by the police pursuing this. He obviously made a very poor decision by going into business with these guys but he didn't deserve to die for it.
