Really looking at Kuklinski, can anyone really say that he was convicted of a hit where a hitman of any kind would have been employed?

Some have pointed out that all of Kuklinski's verified kills were simply of business associates and/or underlings. There is no evidence he was ever employed to take out a ranking principal in the underworld by greater powers than himself...or is there?

A serial killer? Maybe. A hitman? Not impossible, but still dubitable. What professional killer would be busted for the 6 or 7 killings of small time criminals Kuklinski was convicted of?

Someone on this thread asked questions about the movie in the works for Kuklinski, that Mickey Rourke was supposed to play him, etc. Now we all know that the movie was finally made, with Michael Shannon in the starring role.
