(Up till now, three episodes have been released)

Since the highly anticipated TV-Series recently hit the AMC network, i thought i share with you my honest opinion about the presented facts (and fiction) of the show to the best of my knowledge!
The series starts with Capone's humble beginnings in the early 1900's in the streets of Brooklyn, documents his relationship with Johnny Torrio, his takeover of the soon to be called Outfit, and insight into some of the most notorious underworld characters of his time, including Paul Ricca, Tony Accardo, Frank Nitti and more.

Episode 1

Experts in this episode includes:

Deidre Capone (Uncle Al)
Frank Calabrese (Operation Family Secrets)
Jonathan Eig (Get Capone)
John Binder (Chicago Outfit Authority)
William Forsythe ("The Untouchables")
Vincent Pastore (Actor)
Robert Lombardo (Organized Crime in Chicago)

A young Boy impresses Torrio - Al Capones start in the mean streets of Brooklyn is the subject of this episode. Also includes the brawl which lead to his famous scars (which in the show not nearly look as scary as on the real Capone). Torrio's relationship to Big Jim Colosimo, Colosimo's avoidance of getting into alcohol distribution/bootlegging in the prohibiton era, his pal Frankie Yale from Brooklyn and the Final hit on Colosimo is the Main Content of the first episode.

The timespan of the first episode is roughly from 1908/9 - 1920/21.
Generally, the actors are good (in my opinion). The Episode shows real newspaper as well as real tv clips about destroying beer gallons, killings and more. This episode is very good, without distortion of history as far as i could see after watching it once.
