Dependant on circumstance.
How long he went away for, how many years he was boss, did he rescind the title or appoint an acting, his power/influence on the street and for what time etc etc.
No general rule.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
Circumstantial dependant.
MORGAN: Why didn't you fight him at the park if you wanted to? I'm not goin' now, I'm eatin' my snack.
CHUCKIE: Morgan, Let's go.
