Al D'Arco states in his book "Mob boss" that he saw Tommy D the night of his death sitting at a reataurant table with Peter Vario and Bruno Facciola. According to him, Paulie later drove Tommy to his execution.

If you read "Sinatra Club" you get the impression that Gotti was extremely close to Foxie Jerothe and also Billy Batts was part of the Bergin Crew. Tommy D was kept alive because he was such a good earner and hitman, but after the Lufthansa Heist he was more of a problem and then he was fed to the lions.

Paulie was definetly in on it and probably Burke as well. But Im sure the Bergin guys whacked him.
