The link I provided refers to Alton Sterling. Having seen the footage I am willing to reserve judgement on the circumstances that led to that shooting until all the facts prevail.

Having seen the footage from the Castile shooting, I am at a loss of words as to how the victim ended up dead.

I don't think it's helpful that the people who protest these shootings use Trayvon Martin's likeness for their campaign, as he was not entirely faultless for the circumstances that led to his death.

I think it's like what Louis CK said about mild racism, how we're all a little bit racist.

These cops obviously have a culturally ingrained fear of black people. I'm not saying it's wrong or right; I'm not a cop who has interactions with black people on a daily basis that feeds into that fear.
