And yeah, according to Hill Vincent Asaro took Spider to the hospital after he was shot in the foot. Just looking through Wiseguy, it appears Asaro was close to Jimmy Burke's crew from early on. When there was too much heat on Robert's Lounge, they all moved to a new place Vinnie opened.
