Just finished reading "The Sinatra club" by Sal Polisi
and I must say I found it pretty interesting. (The film on the other hand was utter shit)
But what about the book's credibility? That joint venture heist with representatives from all of the 5 families sounds like something out of a bad mafia novel. Other than that, many interesting stories- such as his friendship with Foxie and John Gotti.
Yeah i got the same impression after reading the book... Never saw the movie... Its been a while since I read the book, but was wondering since Polisi was italian, did he mention in the book or doesn't anyone know was he close to getting straightened out?
