The bosses that had people killed for sneezing had to have been scary. Scarfo, Amuso, etc. John Gotti's neighbors probably didn't sleep well after John Favara suddenly disappeared. Sociopaths are scary because there's no rules with them. They kill because they feel like it. Everyone in their sphere is on borrowed time.
